CUSP workshop with Stone Opera

How can our environment contribute to our communities?

CUSP/ Stone Opera event

Do you wonder about the places and spaces around you? Can you think of your favourite place or space in Scotland… Or maybe a story about an inspiring building that is no longer there… Or a place not many people know about…

Or maybe you have an inspiring idea for a new place?

This workshop will explore the relationships between people and place.

Friday 4th November 2 p.m. – 4.30 p.m.

University of Aberdeen MacRobert Drama Studio

All welcome (places limited); to register email:

This workshop is part of the community engagement strand of the Festival of Architecture organised by the Royal Corporation of Architects in Scotland and within the context of the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design.  For this workshop with CUSP, Stone Opera will focus on public and/or shared spaces and places and consider the question of 'How can our environment contribute to our communities?'

Stone Opera will work in collaboration with GMAC, Glasgow’s independent film company who will record the workshop, pick up on some of the participant’s input, potentially film their mentioned environment, but also allow the participants to learn more about making film.
